8 Years Running

8 years ago a wonderful thing happened, Jari and I married in the Timpanogos Temple. 8 years have gone by quickly in retrospect and we often laugh about how little we knew about each other when we were married. It might as well have been an arranged marriage. In the end, the Gospel unified us and we worked hard to love and respect one another. And 8 years and 3 children later here we are.

We have not had much time to call our own so when a friend from work offered to watch our kids we took her up on it and headed out. We took the train/metro north to Suwon where we looked for a steakhouse which we never found... but we did find some food and had a great night talking.

No, we did not eat School Food. Having attended school in the '90s all I could picture was a plastic tray, a box of milk, corn dog, canned fruit, and canned corn... so we skipped this place.

We settled on American Chinese in Korea.

Pickled radish Kimchi cut like fries. Funny.

Jari loves try new foods (sarcasm intended) and went with sweet and sour chicken. I also ordered some crab stuffed won tons.

I went with sushi-grade tuna salad. So yummy.  Jari does not share my love for raw tuna.

Dessert at CF cafe.

All I can say is that I am one lucky guy.  Thanks, Jari for being so awesome. To the next 8 years.
