One thing we have really enjoyed about Germany is how long fall has lasted in terms of the color change. It seems like we wait all year for the colors and then in 2 weeks it is gone. But in the area around Zemmer Germany, the colors have hung on for 4-6 weeks.
Zemmer is also a small village surrounded by walking trails so this last Sunday while Zachary was sleeping (see two posts ago for details- he fell asleep on the way home from
Church and wouldn't wake up... not that I wanted him to as he would have walked so slow...) I took the girls for a walk.
I sweetened the deal by allowing them to bring a cupcake.
As beautiful as the land is, it doesn't compare to these two little ladies:
