Raspberries!

Post 19

A couple of weeks ago, Fred and I went out to a small farm here called Butler's Orchard where you can do your own berry picking. Raspberries were in season, so it was quite a treat. We picked 3 lbs, took them home, rinsed them well, and then made a raspberry cream pie topped off with raspberries.

On my way back to Fort Meade after the Labor Day weekend, I saw a bunch of people picking raspberries at one of those same orchard places along the highway. Traffic was stopped because it was the end of a holiday weekend and also there was an accident. I super wanted to get out and pick some while I waited. It looked like a lot of fun!

I love how you conveniently hid your tiny tummy in all of the pictures. Well done. I already look more pregnant than you did when you came to visit. 2nd pregnancies...bummer.

Oh man, there's a berry patch here about 45 mins away, and I wish I could have gone and picked some fresh raspberries! It would have been awesome to have some homemade raspberry jam.
That pie looks delicious. It would have been nice for me to have that, too. :)
