This is a long overdue post on behalf of my wonderful husband. Sometimes in medical school when you're surrounded by incredibly intelligent and hardworking peers, and living under the tutelage of men and women that have already accomplished (with years of experience added) what you are working hard to achieve, it's easy to overlook your successes and wonder if you'll ever reach your goal.
Back in October Fred was one of 9 students in his class of over 170 who received this award for his outstanding performance in Family Medicine during his third year of medical school. Unfortunately, the two pictures I was able to take of him when he received the award came up scrambled so I just have this picture of the award itself.
Congratulations honey. You really are a smart cookie.
