I received a phone call this week while at work that the office that schedules trips such as the one Jari and I took to run the Bada Marathon 2 weeks ago needed me to stop by to pick something up. Turns out I placed 3rd in Men under 40! I knew I was in the top 25 overall but did not think I had placed.
They gave me another shirt, socks, and a gift certificate for a free pair of Mizuno running shoes, and a certificate of placement, along with a surprise gift...
A travel toothbrush and toothpaste! How practical is that?! Reminds me of when a friend of mine one a half marathon here they gave her a pack of toilet paper. So funny.
Hard to belive I ran so well just 2 weeks ago when I crashed so hard today.
