Crafty Gift

It's hard for me to know what to record and what not to record when it comes to the things Charlotte brings home from school. Most every craft involves paper and tape and K-cups are not infrequent.

Instead of opening her backpack and finding  homework we find crafts, crafts, and more crafts. And how to diapose of them? If we kept them all the house would be a mess. So they have to disappear quietly when she is not looking so as not to upset her. Not to say we don't enjoy them. They are all very clever. Here is just one example, Charlotte playing a paper flute complete with finger hole cutouts.

Before school today we asked her to check her backpack and she announced she had a present for Jari. You can go ahead and guess what it is. If it is not clear please know it is a rocket complete with K cup nose cone and K cup base. Thanks Charlotte.

Hahaha that is awesome! Well done Charlotte. I love the rocket. ;) We face similar challenges with P. He brought home a pterodactyl the other day that had red sequins glued to its back. Devry promptly pulled the sequins off once she got a hold of it. We had to do a search for the sequins and glue them back on during Dev's nap. They take such pride in their projects and they really are neat, but it is difficult to know what to keep, and how long to keep it for.
